Monochromatic Color - Monochromatic colors are all the colors of a single hue. Monochromatic color schemes are derived from a single base hue and extended using its shades, tones and tints.





Negative Space - in art, is the space around and between the subject(s) of an image. Negative space may be most evident when the space around a subject, not the subject itself, forms an interesting or artistically relevant shape, and such space occasionally is used to artistic effect as the "real" subject of an image.

Calligrams - calligram is a poem, phrase, or word in which the typefacecalligraphy or handwriting is arranged in a way that creates a visual image. The image created by the words expresses visually what the word, or words, say. In a poem, it manifests visually the theme presented by the text of the poem. 

Pictograms -pictogram, also called a pictogrammepictograph, or simply picto, and also an 'icon is an ideogram that conveys its meaning through its pictorial resemblance to a physical object. Pictographs are often used in writing and graphic systems in which the characters are to a considerable extent pictorial in appearance.

Rebus -rebus is an allusional device that uses pictures to represent words or parts of words.

Signs and visual communication part one.

Alphabet - An alphabet is a standard set of letters (basic written symbols or graphemes) which is used to write one or more languages based on the general principle that the letters represent phonemes (basic significant sounds) of the spoken language. This is in contrast to other types of writing systems, such as syllabaries (in which each character represents a syllable) and logographies (in which each character represents a word, morpheme, or semantic unit).

Street Sign- street sign is a type of traffic sign used to identify named roads, generally those that do not qualify as expressways or highways. Street signs are most often found posted at intersections, and are usually in perpendicularly oriented pairs identifying each of the crossing streets.


Advertisement -Advertising (or advertizing)[1][2][3] is a form of marketing communication used to persuade an audience to take or continue some action, usually with respect to a commercial offering, or political or ideological support.

Constellation- In modern astronomy, a constellation is a specific area of the celestial sphere as defined by the International Astronomical Union (IAU). These areas had their origins in star patterns from which the constellations take their names.


ASCII symbols - ASCII (Listeni/ˈæski/ ass-kee), abbreviated from American Standard Code for Information Interchange,[1] is a character-encoding scheme. Originally based on the English alphabet, it encodes 128 specifiedcharacters into 7-bit binary integers as shown by the ASCII chart on the right.[2] 

Electronic Symbols -An electronic symbol is a pictogram used to represent various electrical and electronic devices (such as wiresbatteriesresistors, and transistors) in a schematic diagram of an electrical or electronic circuit.


Morse Code - Morse code is a method of transmitting text information as a series of on-off tones, lights, or clicks that can be directly understood by a skilled listener or observer without special equipment. 
American Sign Language - American Sign Language (ASL) is the predominant sign language of deaf communities in the United States and English-speaking parts of Canada.

Glyph-In typography, a glyph /ˈɡlɪf/ is an elemental symbol within an agreed set of symbols, intended to represent a readable character for the purposes of writing and thereby expressing thoughtsideas and concepts.


1. This is a Tent sign. this sign is a warning that tents are allowed in this area. This sign would be anywhere were there were tints are allowed like parks and campsites.

2. This is a sign indicating a rest stop/ picnic area. These signs are usually found on highways the let drivers know here is a rest stop ahead.





4. This sign is showing you that one side is for females and one side is for males. This sign is usually placed in the area of bathrooms.

5.This sign means that you can park. These signs are placed in areas were you can park your vehicles.

6. This signs a indicating that there is a hotel, motel, overnight Accomadations. These signs usually on highways to let drivers know there a places to sleep.

7. This sign means that there is restaurants, and places to eat in the area. These signs are usually placed placed on streets and highways.

9.  This is a swimming sign. This sign means there is swimming in the area. these signs are usually found at pools.

10. This is a fishing sign. This sign means that fishing is allowed in this area. these signs are usually place around lakes.

11. This is a canoeing sign. This sign means canoeing is allowed in the area. These signs are usually places around lakes and oceans.

12. This sign is a indication that there is a telephone in the area. These signs are found on highways and streets close to Pay phones.

13. This is a hiking sign. This sign means in this area camping is allowed.These signs are found on camping sites.

14.This is a boat ramp sign. This sign means there is a boat ramp ahead. This sign is usually on highways and streets.

15. This is a indicating a marina. This sign means there is a marina in the area. this sign is usually placed around marinas.

16. This is a scuba diving sign. This sign means that there is scuba diving in the area. these signs are usually posted around water were scuba diving is allowed.


17. This is a sailing sign. This sign means that in this area there is sailing. this sign is usually in the area of ocean or lakes.

18.This is a canoeing sign. This sign means canoeing is allowed in the area. These signs are usually places around lakes and oceans.



The Stars on the united states Flag represent the states of the country. The stripes on the united states represent the thirteen colonies.The colors of the pales (the vertical stripes) are those used in the flagof the United States of AmericaWhite signifies purity and innocence,Red, hardiness & valour, and Blue, the color of the Chief (the broad band above the stripes) signifies vigilance, perseverance & justice.
